LUMEN MÉXICO (hereinafter “Lumen”) is the data controller of your personal data. Our address for the purposes of this notice is: Lázaro Cárdenas 2150, El Dean, Guadalajara, Jalisco, México, ZIP 44660.
02 · Personal data we collect
To fulfill the purposes described in this notice, Lumen collects the following categories of personal data:
- Identification and contact data: full name, company or organization, email address, phone, WhatsApp.
- Location data: city and state of the project.
- Project data: project name, type, description, area, mounting height, objectives and operational comments.
- Attachments: plans, photographs, IES photometric files and any document voluntarily submitted through the contact or requisition forms.
- Technical browsing data: IP address, browser type, operating system and pages visited (collected by strictly necessary technical cookies to operate the website).
03 · Purposes of processing
Your personal data is used for the following primary purposes, necessary for the relationship you establish with us:
- Handle inquiries, quotation requests and project requisitions for lighting.
- Prepare technical proposals, photometric layouts, lighting calculations and economic offers.
- Provide commercial and operational follow-up to ongoing projects.
- Comply with contractual, tax and legal obligations arising from the provision of our services.
- Maintain a project history for after-sales support and warranty.
04 · Transfers and third parties
To operate the site and follow up on your requests, Lumen shares personal data with the following third parties, only under confidentiality agreements and for limited purposes:
- Meta Platforms, Inc. (WhatsApp Business): when you write to us via WhatsApp or we send you information through this channel. Communication takes place directly between your device and Meta's servers under their own privacy policy.
- Hosting and technology infrastructure providers: which host the website and attachments.
- Accounting and tax firm: to comply with tax obligations when a commercial relationship is formalized.
05 · ARCO rights and revocation of consent
You have the right to know what personal data we hold about you, what we use it for and the conditions of its use (Access). You may also request the correction of your personal information when it is outdated, inaccurate or incomplete (Rectification); request its deletion from our records or databases when you consider it is not being used in accordance with the principles, duties and obligations set forth in the regulations (Cancellation); and oppose the use of your personal data for specific purposes (Opposition). You may also revoke any consent you have granted us for the processing of your data.
06 · Cookies and similar technologies
Our site uses only strictly necessary technical cookies to remember your language preference (ES/EN) and display the site correctly. We do not use advertising cookies, ad tracking or third-party analytics for commercial purposes.
07 · Data security
Lumen implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration or destruction. Forms are transmitted over HTTPS and attachments are stored on infrastructure with restricted access. However, no system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.

Lumen reserves the right to modify this Privacy Notice. Any substantial change will be published on this same page, indicating the date of the last update. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
This Privacy Notice is governed by the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), its Regulations and the Privacy Notice Guidelines published by the Ministry of Economy. Any dispute will be resolved by the National Institute for Transparency, Access to Information and Personal Data Protection (INAI).
